Self Study Project - Revisions

So I've gotten a lot of good feedback on my last two pieces and made some revisions, some of them extensive, some not.

In this shot I changed the composition, added some more foreground elements and played a bit more with the values and depth in the tower itself.

Here I simply added some deep blue shadows to the area underneath the acacia tree in the foreground. A small change, but significant in making the piece feel properly lit.

Now on to new paintings!
